My leadership journey began in my late twenties. I was fortunate enough to work for a multinational company with offices all over the world and became their regional director in Singapore, following sales management roles in South Asia and the Middle East. That was twenty-five years ago and I've managed teams ever since, at director and board level. I've learnt a lot along the way and know what it takes to be a leader, the highs, the lows and how challenging it can be. During this time I discovered coaching, through being coached and thereafter leading with a coaching mindset. As my coach said, 'I'll help you think about what you're thinking'; indeed he did!
On a personal front, I'm married to an amazing lady who's supported my journey, as I have hers; we've two wonderful daughters who are soon to be married themselves. My wife and I enjoy socialising with friends & family and exercising at a local health club.
I also enjoy watching football and spending time in the Lake District, fell walking with my wife and our dogs.
That's me on a snow capped Lord's Seat. What a place!
